The Transformer Winding Deformation Test System evaluates changes in transformer winding characteristics through frequency response analysis. After manufacturing, the internal structure and parameters of a transformer are basically fixed, so the three-phase frequency response curves normally show a consistent coupling relationship. When inter-turn or inter-phase short circuits, operating faults, coil displacement or transportation impact occur, the distributed parameters and frequency response characteristics may change.
The system provides six frequency scanning modes to support different transformer winding testing requirements. The available scan ranges extend from 100 Hz or 1 kHz to 1000 kHz or 2000 kHz, with different scan steps and test points. It is applicable to 63kV-500kV transformers and can be used by transformer manufacturers, substations and related testing organizations.
