Changes in the internal winding structure can affect the distributed parameters and frequency response of a power transformer. The Power Transformer Winding Deformation Analyzer is designed for transformer winding testing based on these frequency response characteristics. Under normal conditions, the frequency response curves of the three phases have a relatively consistent coupling relationship. Abnormal conditions such as inter-turn short circuits, inter-phase short circuits, operating faults, coil displacement and transportation impact can cause changes in the measured response.
For different transformer testing requirements, the instrument offers six frequency scanning configurations. Users can select linear scanning from 1kHz to 1000kHz or 2000kHz, with 1.0kHz or 0.5kHz steps, as well as segmented scanning beginning at 100Hz. The equipment is intended for testing 63kV-500kV transformers in transformer manufacturing units, substations and related organizations.
