Product Introduction
Electrical insulation is often exposed to short-duration overvoltage events that cannot be evaluated through conventional AC or DC tests alone. The SXCY Series Impulse Voltage & Current Generatorprovides controlled high-energy impulse output for evaluating insulation performance under transient electrical stress.
Designed as a modular multi-stage system, it can be configured for different voltage levels, energy requirements and test-object characteristics.

FAQ
Q:What is an impulse voltage generator used for?
It generates short-duration high-voltage impulses used to evaluate the insulation performance of electrical equipment under transient overvoltage conditions.
Q:What equipment can be tested with the SXCY Series?
Typical test objects include transformers, GIS, switchgear, circuit breakers, cables, bushings, insulators and surge protection equipment.
Q:Can the generator be customized?
Yes. The generator configuration can be discussed according to required voltage, energy, test-object capacitance, number of stages and laboratory conditions.
Q:How do I select the correct model?
The required test voltage is only one factor. Test-object capacitance, required impulse energy, test waveform and the complete test circuit should also be considered.
Q;Can it be supplied as a complete impulse test system?
Yes. The generator can be integrated with control, measurement, divider, triggering, grounding and safety systems to form a complete high-voltage impulse testing solution.
