Product Description
Product Introduction

The SXBP Variable Frequency Series Resonance Test System is engineered for demanding AC high-voltage testing where conventional test methods may become less practical due to the large capacitance of the equipment under test.

Using variable-frequency series resonance technology, SXBP creates a controllable high-voltage AC testing environment for power cables, GIS, transformers, circuit breakers, CTs, VTs, CVTs and other high-voltage equipment.

FAQ
  1. What is the SXBP system mainly used for?
It is primarily designed for AC high-voltage withstand and insulation testing of cables, GIS, transformers, circuit breakers and other HV/EHV equipment.
  2. What voltage range is available?
The rated voltage range covers 200 kV to 2,000 kV, depending on the selected configuration.
  3. What is the maximum system capacity?
The SXBP series covers configurations from 300 kVA up to 20,000 kVA.
  4. Why does the system use variable frequency?
Variable-frequency operation allows the resonant circuit to be adjusted according to the electrical characteristics of the test object, particularly for capacitive loads.
  5. Can SXBP be used for long cable testing?
Yes. The system is particularly applicable to high-voltage cable testing where the cable presents a significant capacitive load.
  6. Can the system be customized?
Yes. The reactor, excitation transformer, variable-frequency power supply and related components can be matched according to the required testing voltage, capacity and load characteristics.
