Special Transformer Ratio Tester is an independently developed fully automatic bench-top transformer testing instrument. It is mandatory equipment for transformer factory inspection, handover acceptance and maintenance tests.
It is the tester supporting full blind test: it can accurately measure transformation ratio, connection vector group and phase angle. Compatible with all types of special and general transformers including Z-type, rectifier, furnace, phase-shifting, balancing, Scott & inverse Scott transformers. It effectively detects inter-turn short circuit, winding open circuit, wrong wiring and poor contact of tap changers.
Built-in high-capacity lithium battery enables field testing without external mains supply. Equipped with complete short-circuit & overload automatic protection system. It adopts a 5-inch high-definition true-color touch screen with intuitive hexagonal vector diagram display. A built-in thermal printer is provided for on-site report printing. Up to 1000 groups of test data can be stored and exported to PC via USB for report generation.
Single-phase input, internally digitally synthesized low-distortion 3-phase standard sine wave source (distortion <0.1%, symmetry better than 0.05%) to avoid vector group misjudgment. Switchable single/3-phase mode; synchronously test polarity, phase angle, 3-phase ratio, error and tap position, auto identify all vector groups 0–11.
No need to pre-select connection group; no external short circuit required for Y/△ & △/Y transformers. Directly test unknown transformers without nameplates, with auto circuit switching.
0~360° measurement range, 0.01° resolution, ±0.1° accuracy. Accurately test non-integer phase-shifting transformers with visual hexagonal vector diagram for wiring verification.
Only input rated ratio once; the unit automatically calculates ratio errors for all tap positions to quickly check tap changer performance.
