Product Introduction

The Lightning Impulse Test System is a specialized device used to simulate lightning strikes, generating high voltage and high current for electrical performance testing and safety evaluation of electrical equipment.

Utilizing electromagnetic induction principles, the system generates high voltage and high current through a high-voltage power supply and discharge device to simulate lightning impulses. The discharge device typically includes an energy storage capacitor and discharge wire. After the capacitor is charged, the discharge wire releases lightning energy into the tested equipment, producing instantaneous high voltage and high current.

Structural Composition

The Lightning Impulse Test System typically consists of a generator body, wave cutting device, voltage divider, control panel (available in microcomputer and ordinary types), digital waveform recording system, and other components. These elements work in coordination to ensure stable and accurate output of required impulse voltage waveforms.

The generator body serves as the core component for generating impulse voltage; the waveform truncation device adjusts waveform truncation time; the voltage divider measures output voltage magnitude; the console controls the entire testing process, including parameter settings for charging voltage and charging time; and the digital waveform recording system records and analyzes impulse voltage waveform data.
