Product Introduction
The Lightning Impulse Test System simulates lightning strikes to generate high voltage and high current for electrical performance testing and safety evaluation of electrical equipment. Using electromagnetic induction principles, the system employs a high-voltage power supply and discharge device to create lightning impulses. The discharge mechanism includes an energy storage capacitor and discharge wire that releases lightning energy into test equipment, producing instantaneous high voltage and high current.

Structural Composition
The Lightning Impulse Test System comprises a generator body, wave cutting device, voltage divider, control panel (available in microcomputer and standard types), digital waveform recording system, and additional components. These integrated elements ensure stable, accurate output of required impulse voltage waveforms. The generator body serves as the core component for generating impulse voltage, while the waveform truncation device adjusts waveform truncation timing. The voltage divider measures output voltage magnitude, and the control console manages the entire testing process including parameter settings for charging voltage and timing. The digital waveform recording system captures and analyzes impulse voltage waveform data.
