Product Description
20A DC Winding Resistance Tester
The SX-20A is a professional transformer winding resistance tester developed for DC resistance measurement during transformer production and electrical testing. It is designed to support routine inspection and quality control of transformer windings throughout the manufacturing process.
DC resistance testing helps manufacturers identify problems related to winding materials, welding points, electrical connections, missing strands and broken wires. It is also an important test during transformer installation, handover and preventive maintenance.
The SX-20A adopts a new power supply technology and microprocessor control system. With six output current options and a measuring range of 100μΩ to 100kΩ, it accommodates different inductive winding resistance measurement requirements.

FAQ
Q1: Why is DC resistance testing important in transformer manufacturing?
A: It helps detect potential winding defects, including poor welding, loose connections, missing strands and broken wires.
Q2: Can the SX-20A be used during transformer factory testing?
A: Yes. It is designed for transformer manufacturing inspection, finished-product testing, installation and handover testing.
Q3: Does it support tap changer testing?
A: Yes. The instrument can automatically refresh measurement data when switching the on-load tap changer during the measurement process.
Q4: Can users record transformer temperature and tap position?
A: Yes. Users can configure winding, tap position, test phase, sample temperature and reference temperature.
Q5: How many test records can be stored?
A: The instrument can store up to 500 test records.
